Parikrama

Recently I had a chance to go to Parikrama school which is funded by Yahoo employee foundation.
When I joined yahoo, I thought that these people must be having loads of funds and might be partially supporting the school or something for the sake of it...

I am glad that I was wrong.

The school was of very good quality as far as administration was concerned. Teachers were softspoken and looked educated. Overall atmosphere in the school was encouraging.

Looked like Parikrama is doing well in organizing .

It is an English medium school. I still have doubts in my mind whether a foreign language school can help underprivileged students to reach higher goals as most part of their life would be wasted on learning what is the name of certain thing in english.

But for a person in Bangalore, it is a good place to start as a volunteer.
